Die Grundsteinlegung

Das Deutsch-Chinesische Zentrum für nachhaltige Entwicklung wurde am 11. Mai 2017, als gemeinsame Initiative des Bundesministeriums für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung (BMZ) der Bundesrepublik Deutschland und dem Handelsministerium (MofCom) der Volksrepublik China, gegründet.

Die drei Säulen

Das Deutsch-Chinesische Zentrum für nachhaltige Entwicklung ist in drei Säulen tätig:
1. Deutsch-Chinesischer Dialog zur Entwicklungszusammenarbeit
2. Trilaterale Kooperationsprojekte
3. Partnerschaften mit Unternehmen

Der Arbeitsmodus

Das Trade Development Bureau (TDB) und die Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) wurden beauftragt das Zentrum zu leiten. Sie unterstehen dem BMZ und dem MofCom als politische Partner, welche gemeinsam die Arbeit steuern.
